First let me tell you that the standalone version is looking great, it's obvious that a great deal of work went into the software. Two thumbs up! The only thing missing is an option to export to Nuke bezier shapes.

Nuke is a desktop compositing system from www.d2software.com and is rapidly becoming a major player in the field. The file format is super-simple, writing an output function should be no problem.

I'm sure D2 would be happy to help you out with the exact specs.

This export option would be a major factor in our decision to purchase Roto.

We are finding increasing uses for Nuke here, too.

I know d2 uses combustion as it's main roto tool in-house ... and I'm wondering if they might already have a gmask-nuke conversion tool that they might share with licensed users?

If so, s+r exports gmasks nicely, so that might be a workaround.

Down the line, exporting to Digital Fusion might be a good idea as well. There are a few major shops using it and v5 looks promising.

We have a request in for the documentation to the format. If you are willing, make a simple rotoshape such as a Bezier circle, export it from Nuke, and email me the file. Maybe I can figure out some things from that.
