I was just doing some tests, and when I'm viewing in Composite mode, the mask shape looks like it is offset to the right. I've attached an example, to show what im talking about.
What is causing this?

Do you have any transform set in the Composite node?
Can you email us a sample project?

It looks like the offset is dependent on the location the mask is placed horizontally. If I transform it over to the left side of the screen, it's offset more to the left of the mask. If I move it to the right side, the offset moves more to the right of the mask.
When its in the middle. The foreground is squeezed, so that the top and bottom edges of the mask match up, but the left and right sides are offset inside the mask.
hmm, here's an example file.
PS - I think my attach files limit is set to 2KB , instead of 2 MB. I cant attach anything, it keeps telling me im over my limit.

Can you send the project to sfxsupport@silhouettefx.com?

ok, I just sent you the file.
However now, instead of displaying the correct composite with the offset problem, When I view composite mode, the offset problem is still there, but the background is all gray, and I cant see the image i selected as the Background layer.

Oh, you mentioned Composite Mode which is in v2.3. From your project, it looks like your background inputs are different sizes from the Session. All of your inputs need to be the same size.

Ohh, ok gotcha. I'll make the FG, and BG images the same size.
As far as the background showing up as gray in composite mode...Do you know waht could be causing that?

IIRC, it doesn't bother using it if it's not the right size.
We now have v3, which has better support for different-sized images.
