AFter effects error: plugin could not be loaded

I'm going to try this one here to and see if I get any response...

I'm getting an error on first launch of the plugin in After effects 6.0 on a win 2000 system. Plugin refers to the correct path where it is located, but cannot load. error # (48::46) if that means anything. I installed with all default setting and the installer did find the correct plugin path. Any ideas?

I think on Win 2k machines you will need to install the Microsoft .NET Runtime.
