hello,

i haven't tested this because i'm actually working on a shot and not testing software but i'd figure i'd throw it out there to see if i could get an answer.

i have a shape that is having it's points moved and adjusted on every frame (hair roto). what i'd like to do is select a small group of points and delete the keyframe on that particular frame for just those points while keeping the keyframe info for the rest of the shape's points.

does the software as it is now, allow this kind of keyframe control for individual points? if not, will it ever? are the keyframes for shapes and points separate?

curious. thanks!

don't think it's possible at the moment.

curious gFx handles points vs shapes this way - there is a seperate keybar for each point in addition to global shape keyframes. but in my opinion (after having done some surgery on points in this manner) it causes more problems than it solves and really is a cumbersome way to work. As much as you want them for your current situation, all of those keybars (as their called in gfx) just get in the way constantly.

you might be able to get close to what you want by duplicating the shape and deleting points, then turning the original shape off for those frames and back on when you need those points again.

or some combination of copying/pasting keyframes?
