loving the real time filtering of cineon files. Gorgeous.

Would it be possible to get this functionality working at lower bit depths? Would be nice to be able to work at 8bit but still color correct cineon and exr - would be a real memory saver. I'm sure there are people that would argue this point, but 8 bits is enough for most roto pipelines. the extra bits really only come into play when outputting multichannel files, keeping the superwhites, etc in the rgb intact -- which is something you rarely do when rendering masks (usually rendering alpha only).

With 4gb on my linux box, I can cache about 170 frames at float. but 325 at 8bit.
