shape options glitch

hello,

why is it that sometimes you can't see or access the options for a particular shape layer?

i've seen this happen to not only myself but to others i work with so it's a common issue.

to resolve this little glitch what i usually do is click off the shape layer and then reselect it.

Is the Shape options window blank or are the options there and just not showing you the paramters for a particular shape? When more than one shape is selected only the first shape selected is shown in the Shape options window.

Do the shape options reappear if you try to resize the window slightly by dragging on the edges of the window?
