hello,

how come the software operates this way?

all but one of my shapes are LOCKED

in the shape list, i select a locked shape or selected one of those layers accidentally.

in the image area, i draw a rubberband box around my UNLOCKED shape because i want to work on it.

nothing happens.

wouldn't logic dictate that since i drew a box around the ONLY unlocked shape that it would then become the selected shape resulting from this action regardless of which shape was selected in the shapes list?

ok, if logic doesn't dictate that then...can we change the way it currently opperates so the app gets smarter?

i'd love to hear other's views on this suggestion.

Should work that way. Sounds like a bug.

currently I can select the shape in the shapelist, then swipe the points i require for editing and only the points from the selected shape are selected.

I select the shape then the points, I wouldnt want the app to assume I'd like to edit anything from a shape that wasint currently selected, but was unlocked.

I guess I would then have to lock everything, then unlock as required.

it makes sence to me if its not selected I cant rubberband the points.
