we're having a bugger of a time rendering a silhouette project here today. keeps rendering to frame 134 I think, then falls flat. Turning off the tracking data allows it to render fine. Very strange. Any ideas?
and an idea adam and I had was to ask about logging the verbose feedback in the console to a text file? Maybe then we could post whatever it's last gasp is before crashing...
that is, if the console is even really reporting all that much. I can't say I look at it often, but it might be cool for troubleshooting.

The console is going to get more important soon.
yeah, it looks like frame 135 is the peak of the twist in my 2 point track. If I delete the data it renders fine - (but is missing the tracking data)

We'll need more info. Paul will probably follow up. Damn the time zone difference.
so I have two trackers. I figured that the tracking data is causing the dummy spit. I thought I might add some smoothing, added it nicley to one tracker. added it to the next tracker and it shot off over the other side of the screen, (not so smooth) somthing weird happening here...
bad bad things are happening to me. my dreams of sfx tracker bliss are fading.
new project new trackers, same crash. :(

We need more information than "it crashed." What size image. What format. How many. What size tracker. What tracker settings. Where was the tracker. We can't help you in a vacuum.

is this perhaps an issue where the project should be attached and sent to an email address for inspection?
quite hard to explain. You know, it crashes where the tracker is at it's most batty. :)
who wants it? support@silhouettefx.com ?

sfxsupport@silhouettefx.com, right?
we tried rendering it on linux - no luck, but we did see an error in the shell after crash:
OpenGL ERROR: GL_INVALID_OPERATION
Segmentation fault
hopefully that helps narrow it down. frame 136. give it a try! if you can render it, please send us a zip file with the matte. ;)
