Anchor Point

The Command+period hotkeys for moving the anchor point are rather cumbersome... and all the far way over the other side of the keyboard. Could it not be set to something a little more simple, seeing as pretty much every time you are going to rotate a shape you will need to re-adjust this anchor point.

I know you can shift drag it, but when its off screen its a real pain in the ass. :D It would most deffinately speed things up if it was a simple command+click in the area you wish to rotate from... or even command+alt+click just something that doesnt break the pace so drastically.

totally agree. do the hunt and peck thing each time I need to move the anchor for rotation, too.

not even stevie wonder could find that damn period!

perhaps this could be revised when we get axis up and running? seems we'll have a different system then anyway?


and should be noted - with the current system, on linux, holding down the i key to reset the anchor point causes a key repeat that has a whack side effect of deselecting the shapes. So, you wan't to rotate? hold down . - set the point, and then have to go select the shapes you had selected again.
