Large images cropped with Roto plugin in FCP

I'm testing the Roto Plugin in FCP HD.
I applied the Roto filter to a 1500 x 900 pixel still image in a 720 x 576 PAL sequence.

However, the image gets cropped to 720 x 576 (top, left of image is visible).

When the image is panned in the viewer no more of the image is visible.

I have tested the plugin in After Effects in a 720 x 576 PAL composition and the entire image is available when panning.

Any ideas?

This is most likely a limitation in FCP - it is probably passing us only the cropped portion of the output resolution.
