say I have a 150 frame clip, but I've sectioned off part of it by inputting frames 50-100 in the time bar.
if I track from frame 50- forward, the tracking stops at frame 100 as you would expect.
if I track backwards from 100, the tracking continues after 50 towards frame 1, which aren't "visible." I would expect it to stop at 50.

This was a known bug that has already been fixed.
REAL SOON NOW!

oh, another thing we were talking about - it's really hard to apply a tracker to a shape at times using the current method - we suspect because of the current bspline behavior that we've posted about, where it's kind of stubborn to select points and outlines at times.
would it be possible to create a more "menu driven" way to apply tracking data to a spline?
so currently you right click on the spline in the viewer... could you right click on the shape name in the shape list or timeline and get the "apply shape" menu that you get currently via right click in the viewer? You could just leave out the per point tracking options?
Would be a big help - were kind of pulling teeth this morning to get a shape to track.
