Hey Guys.
I've just had a very frustrating session trying to apply a single tracker to a shape.

The instructions in the manual are a bit obscure. There's no mention of having to be in 'Tracker' mode (ie, activate the tracker button on the left-hand side) and then highlighting the shape using the marquee tool. Then you can right click on a segment . It's a bit convoluted isn't it? Why not just click on the shape or point/s and then right click and have a drop down menu that goes --->TRACKER---->(list of trackers).

In Commotion it's quite easy. You highlight the shape/points, press tracker (in the spline list) and you get a choice of options and then you choose which track you want to use.

It's supposed to work the way you describe crow.

Click on the tracker(s). Click on the shape. Right click on either the shape or the point(s) and select "Apply". It should be that easy.

You shouldn't need any marquee selection.

Hmm.. yes, I've got it now.
I was clicking on the 'tracker' in the list on the right. Not the one in the frame.
I'm still stuck in 'Commotion Land'..... :D
Um... still feels a bit 'clunky' though. I'll get used to it.

Our "Shape List" is just a list of Shapes/Trackers. When you click on one there, it selects it globally. You should be able to click on a tracker in that list (or in the timeline), then CTRL+click on a shape in either place, and both will then be selected.

But it might be easier just to select them directly on the viewer.

Hint - Silhouette is NOT Commotion. :-)
