composite opacity

I'm having trouble trying to create a composite I can see through. the prefs has the % I can alter but this only effects the area outside my matte, my matte still remains solid colour.

The Composite precentage is currently only controlling the opacity of the foreground when no background is selected and the foreground is being composited over a color. This is not right as the precentage should also control the opacity of the foreground when a background is selected. For the moment, you will have to lchange the shape opacity to control the opacity of the foreground. This will have to be fixed.
