timeline zoom

i'm zoomed in on my time line as I have 191 frames loaded. the key frames dont seem to change shape with the timebar, so i'm unsure if i'm on or off the key??
It would be cool if they shrink and expand with the timeline.

Yeah, I agree. Unfortunately the keyframe icons are bitmaps (since they show whether the keyframe is interpolating, constant, smooth, etc), and don't scale well. I'm trying to figure out the best way to deal with getting them to scale while still conveying the information they're supposed to show when squeezed down.

Maybe when zoomed they just show a dot indicating a key - but you have to open the context menu to see what kind of key it is.

or maybe three different colored dots (white, grey, black). i must say i haven't touched or even looked at the timeline yet but when i looked at adam's machine i thought to myself "whoa! that's really busy down there"
