Hello,
I would like to be able to 'reshape' without the 'shape outlines' being visible. If I turn off the "Overlay" button the 'shape outlines' disappear, but so do the control points for the shape.
Sometimes, it it easier to see the accuracy of the 'masked' FG over the BG when the 'shape outlines' are off. For me, it would be even nicer, if you could 'reshape' in the same way too. At times the 'shape outlines' are distracting, which is why I guess you added the "Overlay" button toggle.
Is what I am looking for already in the software?
Regards,
Carlos

There is a preference item that will turn off the tangents in a Bezier and the outline hull in a b-spline. This gets you almost all the way there ... it leaves the things you actually have to edit, but gets rid of the rest.

Thanks perryk,

This gets you almost all the way there ... it leaves the things you actually have to edit, but gets rid of the rest. You are right, that gets me half way there, by not displaying the 'cage' for b-splines.
The reason I am asking about this feature, is that the 'shape outline' is very thin, but sometimes it can distract you from the edge, as it is on top of the edge itself. Sometimes I want to see the natural 'join' between the FG & BG (while reshaping the spline).
Maybe a way round this would be to be able to assign a transparent spline colour to the shape? (if there was a transparent/none colour)

Carlos
