I started a roto in a windows license of silhouette - wanted to switch to the linux vr. (seemed to run better than the windows vr.) got the new license and can't seem to load my old save file...

I still have the windows license available so its not that big of a deal - just seems like it would be cooler if u could load windows saves in linux...

I've noticed that too. Typically, silhouette just seg faults.

you would think this would be possible, since a silhouette project file is ASCII.

This should have been fixed in Silhouette 2.2. Are you using 2.2? The crash was caused if the file location was not accesible from the new machine. The workaround is to edit the file path in the project file to be correct for the current machine.

Yeah, sorry, we were at NAB.

I thought this issue was fixed awhile ago - 2.1 at least.

Worst case scenario - edit the project file and replace your Windows paths with suitable Linux ones.
